मन परेकी केटि: भाग १

त्यतिखेर म भर्खर १८ बर्ष भएको थिएँ। १२ कक्षाको जांच सकेर घर (बैतडी) फर्केको थिएँ। संगै पढेका साथीहरु जाँच दिने बित्तिकै काठमाडौँ गैसकेकाले मलाई नि काठमाडौँ जाने रहर पलाउन थालेको थियो। साथीहरु कोहि डाक्टर पढ्ने भन्थे कोहि इन्जिनियर, कोहि सी.ए त कोहि केहि। संगत गरेका साथीहरु ले ठुलाठुला सपनाहरु बोकेको प्रत्यक्ष्य देखे पनि मैले अहिलेसम्म न कुनै सपना देखेको थिएँ न बोकेको नै। भविष्यको प्लानिङ्ग को नाम मा १० क्लास को SLC सेन्ट अप परीक्षाको अंग्रेजी को प्राक्टिकल मा तिमि के बन्न चाहन्छौ भन्ने प्रश्नमा मेरो मनबाट स्वस्फुर्त रुपमा डाक्टर बन्छु भन्ने वाक्य निस्केको मात्र याद थियो। तर ११ - १२ मा पनि त्यस्तै सपना बोक्नेहरुको संगत ले मभित्र त्यो सपना बलियो बन्दै गएको मैले महशुश गर्दै थिएँ। तर पनि साथीहरु काठमाडौँ गएर प्रवेश परीक्षाको लागि तयारी कक्षा लिन थाल्दासम्म म अनिर्णयको बन्दि थिएँ। काठमाडौँ जाने रहर मनमा भए पनि त्यहाँ कोसँग जाने कोसंग बस्ने केहि ठेगान थिएन। कहिले नदेखेको ठाउँमा मलाई एक्लै जान अनुमति दिने खालको परिवार पनि थिएन, जिद्दी गरेर भए नि जाने हिम्मत ममा थिएन। ...

This is why I don't believe in horoscopes Horoscopes are supposed to tell you what the stars have in store for you, based on your birth date and zodiac sign. They are supposed to give you guidance, insight, and advice on your life, love, and career. They are supposed to be fun, entertaining, and sometimes even accurate. But I don't believe in horoscopes. And here's why. First of all, horoscopes are too vague. They use general statements that could apply to anyone, such as "You will face a challenge today" or "You will meet someone interesting". They don't give you any specific details or predictions that you can verify or act upon. They just give you a false sense of hope or fear that may or may not come true. For example, last week my horoscope said that I would have a lucky day and that I should buy a lottery ticket. So I did. And guess what? I won! A whole dollar! Wow, thanks horoscope! You really nailed it! Secondly, horoscopes are too inconsist...
